Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Rienzi Technologies collects, uses and protects personal data when you use this website or get in touch with us, and what rights you have under UK and EU data protection law (UK GDPR, EU GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

1. Who we are

2. What we collect and why

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical data.

• Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), your message and whether you agree to receive occasional updates from us.
• Consultation request: your name, email address, phone number, company, website (optional), the service you are interested in, your message and your marketing preference.
• Technical data with your submission: the IP address your form was sent from, which we use to detect abuse and spam.
• Email: if you email us, we keep your message and our reply.
• Administrator accounts: the name and email address of the few people who manage this site. Visitors do not need or get an account.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see section 9.

3. How we use it and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to arrange a consultation. Basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse. Basis: legitimate interests.
• To send you occasional technical tips and updates, only if you ticked the box to agree. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time and every message tells you how.
• To meet legal obligations. Basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share it with

We run this website, its database and our email on servers we rent from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (our email server is in Nuremberg). Hetzner provides the infrastructure; it does not use your data for its own purposes. We use no other service providers to process the information you send us.

Two Google services can be involved, and only in the ways described in section 9: Google reCAPTCHA protects the contact and consultation forms from spam, and Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are loaded only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies.

We may disclose personal data where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Germany, within the European Economic Area. The UK recognises the EEA as providing adequate protection for personal data, so no additional transfer safeguards are needed for this storage. Google services (section 9) may process data outside the UK and EEA under Google's own safeguards, and only if you have agreed to analytics or marketing cookies or use a form protected by reCAPTCHA.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and consultation records, including your marketing preference and related email correspondence, for two years after our last contact with you, and then delete them. We delete them sooner if you ask us to. If you withdraw consent to marketing we stop sending it immediately and keep only the record that you opted out.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted connections, and we keep access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email legal@rienzitech.com; we will reply within one month and do not charge a fee unless a request is clearly excessive.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use the following. Only the first group is used without your consent.

• Essential: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) token that keep forms and administrator sign-in working, and your theme (light/dark) and cookie choices, which are kept in your browser's local storage. The contact and consultation forms also use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam; it loads scripts from Google when you start filling in the form.
• Analytics: Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. Loaded only if you accept.
• Marketing: advertising and conversion-measurement tags configured in our Google Tag Manager container. Loaded only if you accept.

Until you choose, Google Tag Manager is not loaded and no analytics or marketing cookies are set. You can accept, reject or change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer; withdrawing consent removes the Google cookies. We ask again after 12 months.

10. Children

This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we find we have, we delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. Last updated: October 4, 2026.
