Vibe Coding with AI Agents

The New Way to Build Software

Human AI collaboration

In 2025, Andrej Karpathy coined “vibe coding” — describing what you want in plain English and letting AI agents handle the code, while you judge the result by whether it works.   Today, tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex make this powerful.Key benefits:

  • Speed — Prototypes in minutes or hours instead of days
  • Accessibility — Non-coders and solo builders can create real apps
  • Focus — Spend time on product intent and UX, not syntax and boilerplate
  • Iteration — Tight describe → generate → test → refine loops
  • Productivity — Agents handle scaffolding, tests, and fixes so you stay in flow

Best for prototypes, internal tools, and exploration.   For production work, pair it with review, tests, and oversight (what some now call agentic engineering).   Vibe coding doesn’t replace good judgement — it amplifies it.
